Last month, I went to a performance at Western Carolina University's Fine and Performing Arts Center, featuring The Koresh Dance Company.
I was a little skeptical about going to this show because I had never heard of something like this and every time I asked someone to illustrate what their shows were like, they had a hard time answering.
The show was titled "Evolution" and was more or less a story shared through dance. It was the story of how we as human beings evolved into the manufacturing slaves that we are today. We started out as awkward, barbaric humans and have grown into structured, poised robots. It was interesting to see the story told without words, purely through dance and movement.
